<p>Sheet material particularly textile is cut by a device having a support for the material and a loop-formed cutting wire mainly perpendicular to it, movable according to a pattern, which is driven by guide rollers situated at both sides of the material and is driven in circumferential direction. The wire has a mainly triangular cross-section and is led between the guide rollers by a guiding device coaxial with the wire, which, by a suitable drive mechanism, is driven, so that it performs with the thread an oscillating movement about its longitudinal axis.</p> |
