Texturing yarns or fabrics - by electron beam irradiation and shrinking

A high speed electron beam in conjunction with a cooling medium and a shrinking process is used to achieve a texturised and/or structured yarn or fabric surface structure, from high polymer textile products. The purpose is to provide a simple texturising process without the use of stencils.
