The anti-splash nozzle consists of an outlet section (1) with a perforated end wall (2), joined by a quick-release coupling (7) to an adapter (3) which is fitted to the a tap (4). The adapter and outlet section have adjoining walls (5, 5') with matching conical surfaces giving a through channel of more or less constant cross-section. The outlet section is made from a material which is at least slightly elastically deformable, while the adapter is rigid and made e.g. from stainless steel, being fixed to the tap by a threaded compression joint.
