Composition for topical application comprises, in physiologically acceptable medium, at least one liquid oil phase, containing at least one oil and at least one wax (0.5-60 wt.%, preferably 1-40 wt.%), the latter having melting point below 60 deg C (preferably 40-50 deg C) and hardness, at 20 deg C, higher than or equal to 9.5 MPa (preferably 10-12 MPa). Independent claims are also included for: (1) A process of make-up of keratin matter involving application of the claimed composition; (2) a process of non-therapeutic treatment of keratin matter involving application of the claimed composition; (3) a process of coating (dressing) keratin fibers, especially eyelashes, comprising application of the claimed composition; and (4) use of the claimed composition for curling-up keratin fibers, especially eyelashes.
