OPTICAL PICKUP SYSTEM

PURPOSE: An optical pickup system is provided to be driven adaptively as an infinite or finite optical system according to a kind of a disc for preventing the generation of aberration both in CDs and CDs-R(CD-Recordable). CONSTITUTION: An optical pickup system includes a first light source(32) for generating a first light beam(B1) of a first wavelength to be radiated to a first disc, a second light source(40) for generating a second light beam(B2) of a second wavelength to be radiated to a second disc, and a light path element(34) for radiating the first light beam to the first disc in the shape of spot in the infinite optical manner and radiating the second light beam to the second disc in the shape of spot in the finite optical manner.
