摘要 The method involves reducing engine speed from an initial value to a constant value over a period from a cold start. When idling is resumed after driving during the period, idling speed is reduced from the characteristic speed at the end of driving mode to the current speed; after resuming driving mode another characteristic is used that is reduced by the difference between first characteristic value at the end of idling and current engine speed. The method involves reducing the engine revolution rate from an initial cold start value to a constant value over a time period starting from a cold start. When idling is resumed after a period of driving during the period the idling speed is reduced from the characteristic (K) speed (A1) at the end of driving mode to the current speed and after resuming driving mode a further characteristic (K') is used that is reduced by the difference (A2) between the value of the first characteristic at the end of idling and the current engine speed.
