LANGUAGE TRANSLATION SYSTEM

A language translation system by which users can communicate in various languages. A translating unit (300) translates a constituent element constituting an expression in a natural language to a universal language element corresponding to the constituent element and entered in a universal dictionary (210). Translation rules (220) are applied to the translated universal language elements, thereby creating an expression in the universal language expressed in a binomial relation according to the sequence. An inverse translating section (350) decomposes the expression in the universal language expressed in the binomial relation into universal language elements constituting a connection in reference to the translation rules (220) and according to the rules for expression in the binomial relation included in the translation rules. The decomposed universal language elements are translated to constituent elements constituting the natural language expression in reference to the universal language (210), thereby creating an expression in the natural language.
