In a ventilation system such as anaesthesia machines or ventilators for intensive care, provided with a hose (10) directed to patient, a breathable gas supplying tube (20), an exhaustion tube (30) and an antibacterial/antiviral filtering device connected at one side to the said hose (10) and at the other side to said breathable gas supplying tube (20) and to the said exhaustion tube (30) , the said filtering device comprising a casing (1), provided with an inlet conduit (302; 601) connected to the breathable gas supplying tube (20), and an outlet conduit (201) connected to the said hose (10); the said casing (1) comprises at least two chambers (102, 101; 401, 502) having parallel axis, defined by means of at least a common wall (2), and in fluid connection one with the other.
