Production of recycled ceramic paste for extruded paving involves combining glass with ceramic and aluminum anodizing sludges with or without plastic clay additive

Production of recycled ceramic paste for extruded paving comprises combining (wt. %) ceramic sludge 40-60, glass 20-30 and aluminum anodizing sludge 20-30. Up to 15 per cent addition of plastic clay can be added into the mixing mill, if necessary. Firing at 1035-1210 degrees C gives a product with properties equivalent to those of porous renderings (up to 1100 degrees C) and sandstone paving.
