<p>A combine harvester (10) comprises a threshing and separating arrangement (16) mounted to a main frame (11) and including a generally cylindrical chamber (26) having a generally longitudinal axis. Part of the chamber (26) is constituted by a separating concave assembly (101) comprising at least two separating concaves (102, 103), the one located behind the other. The concaves are taken from a choice of less and more aggressive separating concaves (102, 103). The chamber (26) comprises mounting means (112, 113) operable to receive and hold each of said choice of separating concaves. This arranged provides for improved versatility of the combine harvester. The front/and or the rear concaves can be removed and replaced in order to adapt the harvester to a wide range of crops and crop conditions.</p> |
