Methods, apparatus, media and signals for identifying associated cell signaling proteins are disclosed. The method involves producing and storing a comparison value for each pair of the cell signaling proteins in response to data values representing physical properties of respective cell signaling proteins. The method further involves identifying cell signaling protein pai rs having comparison values satisfying a condition indicative of an association between the cell signaling proteins.
