PURPOSE: A method for upgrading a software of a base station transceiver subsystem is provided to continuously upgrade a software without time delay by processing an operator's work inside the software of a base station controller, and by enabling the operator to promptly understand a loading state of the software. CONSTITUTION: A base station transceiver subsystem receives a software upgrading command from an operator(110). The base station transceiver subsystem receives an identification number of a relevant call control processor and a base station control processor(120). The base station transceiver subsystem transmits the software upgrading command to the call control processor (130). After that, the base station transceiver subsystem waits an answer to the command(140). An answering time is measured using a timer. In case that there's no answer from the call control processor(150), the base station transceiver subsystem notifies the operator that there's no answer from the call control processor(160). In case that there's an answer from the call control processor(170), the base station transceiver subsystem notifies the operator of a result received from the call control processor(180).
