PURPOSE: A microwave oven is provided to improve the efficiency of use by notifying the cooking state of food or messages to other family member. CONSTITUTION: A microwave oven comprises a body(50). The body(50) is formed with a cooking chamber(52) and a machine room(55). A door(51) is hinged to the body(50) so as to open or close the cooking chamber(52). A control section(61) is mounted at a side of the door(51). A massage recording/reproducing device is installed in the body(50) so as to record and reproduce the sound signal. The cooking chamber(52) is provided with a cooking tray(53) and a driving roller(54) for rotating the cooking tray(53). A high pressure capacitor(58) and a high pressure transformer(57) are installed in the machine room(55). A magnetron(56) is provided to generate the microwave by receiving an electric signal from the high pressure transformer(57). The massage recording/reproducing device includes a microphone for recognizing the sound signal and a speaker for outputting the sound signal.
