Before inserting the screw (4) in the hole (8), a capsule (9) of adhesive is introduced. When the screw is driven in, the capsule is torn open, releasing the adhesive. An Independent claim is included for the capsule, which is an outer skin of plastic, filled with adhesive. The fastening screw is also claimed. It holds an anchoring section (3) to the back of a facade panel (1). Leading threads of the screw are of smaller diameter than those which follow. They include a sawtooth configuration. Preferred features: Depth of hole and length of screw are such that in the finished state, the hole is nearly completely filled by the screw. The capsule diameter is less than that of the hole. The adhesive is single- or multicomponent. The head of the screw has an unusual driving recess, coupling only with a special tool. In the method, an adhesive band is included on the back of the anchoring section, so that it can be fastened immovably onto the facade panel. Guidance and mounting holes in the anchoring section can then be used as drilling templates, to introduce blind holes into the panel |
