The invention relates to 13-hydroxy-tylosinderivatives representing new semisynthetic antibiotics of the macrolide class, and to method for their preparation. The compounds are produced by reduction opening of the oxirane ring of the tylosin after which the double bond is hydrogenized. Then the 13-hydroxydihydro- or tetrahydrocompounds are subjected to reaction of oximation, and the 13-hydroxyoximes - to hydrogenation of the double bond. 23 claims
