A first gap (28) is formed between a stator core (24) and a rotor core. A second gap is formed between two stator blocks. A third gap (29) is formed between rotor blocks. A rectangular, cuboid shaped magnet (26), arranged in the third gap, is magnetized in a diagonal direction over the third gap in order to connect the rotor blocks. An Independent claim is also included for a rotation angle sensor.
