Purification of crude pyrrolidine (I) to give a composition containing over 99 wt.% (I) and less than 0.3 wt.% water comprises continuous distillation of crude (I), containing 40-98 wt.% (I) and over 2 wt.% water, in a column with distillation and concentration sections at a top pressure less than 950 hPa.
