A low-voltage circuit breaker has a housing with a front wall and a rear wall, where the front and rear walls are separated from one another by a division joint extending vertically in the working position between the front wall and the rear wall of the housing. The rear wall (3) has a cable duct (11) integrated into the floor (12) and extending under the contact carrier bearings and under the mains transformer compartments (6), mainly over the total width of the circuit-breaker. The cable duct has one or more entrance openings in the direction towards the front wall (2) of the housing for carrying through the connecting leads between the mains transformers and the electronic release/trip unit at the front.
