摘要 The method is used for identifying conditions with a system for automatic regulation of length and/or breadth in a vehicle, operating according to the radar and/or the lidar principle. The condition identification is dependent on at least two indicators formed from the signals received by and/or sent from the sensor. One of the indicators is the object stability. Another indicator is the transverse offset of an object relative to the vehicle axis. The soiling and/or blindness of the sensor derived from the object stability indicator is not displayed or processed if the transverse offset exceeds a predetermined value.
