<p>This invention provides an apparatus or container for a compact disc having a central holding portion to retain the disc through a central aperture. The central holding portion has a plurality of inwardly directed radial arms that are depressible towards their inner ends. Each arm includes a raised mid section which includes a rib, lip or similar to engage over the disc. Also, a bearing means bears on the underside of the disc around the central aperture on the non-data carrying portion of the disc adjacent that aperture. The disc is firmly supported between these two points of contact.</p> |
