Fuel conveyance arrangement in common-rail fuel injection system

The arrangement conveyes fuel from a reservoir (11) into a pressure storage (13) of a common-rail fuel injection system, comprising a high-pressure pump (12) supplying the pressure storage, and an auxiliary pump (10) conveying fuel from the reservoir over a feeder system (4, 5, 6) to an inlet of the high-pressure pump. A branch (36) is provided in the flow path of the fuel between the feeder system and the inlet of the high-pressure pump, which is connected over a suction path (35, 34) which lets gaseous medium through and retains fluid, with the hypotension side of a separate suction device (32). The branch is preferably arranged in flow direction behind the auxiliary pump.
