Fuel supply unit with a fuel level indicator in a vehicle fuel tank

This fuel supply unit has a supply unit (4) in a baffle chamber (2) mounted on the floor of the fuel tank (1). Fixed to a vertical wall (6) of the baffle chamber is a fuel level sensor (3) consisting of two brackets (8,9) in a predetermined position on the wall. The two brackets (8,9) can be mounted in various alignments relative to each other to alter the height of the bearing (10) of a lever arm (12) carrying a float (11) on its outer end. This allows the unit to be adjusted to fit into a number of different sized fuel tanks.
