The sit-on mower has a grass box (22) which is mounted on articulated arms (26, 26') with a hydraulic drive system (30) which swivels them about a horizontal axis (28). This allows the box to be moved from a filling position where it is at the rear of the machine and near the ground to an emptying position where it is at the front and high above the ground.
