Sludge sedimentation tank has overhead position-adjustable bridge gangway for compact construction and easy cleaning

A waste water fine sedimentation tank has a bank of parallel inclined sedimentation surfaces (9). The bank is spanned overhead by a gangway (10) which can be positioned as required exactly over each section (9). The bridge is fitted with cleaning equipment e.g. a high-pressure hose or brush, and a sludge suction pump (11) with pipe (12) and collector tank (4). The collection outlet (11) is fed by a sludge collector-scraper (2).
