<p>A background image of high quality of a 3-D CG animation not distorted because of the pan of a viewpoint camera is displayed. The pre-rendering image of a three-dimensional background scene is mapped on the inside surface of a cylindrical model (60), and a viewpoint camera (61) is defined in a position on the center axis O of the cylindrical model. The area cut by a pyramid field of view (62) of the viewpoint cameral (61) is projected onto a display screen. With this processing, even if the viewpoint camera is panned, a background image of high quality with no distortion can be displayed.</p> |
