The cell voltages of the fuel cell system (30) are sampled in order to determine the minimal cell voltage. The electrical energy is transmitted from the fuel cell system into the electric grid and a transmission rate is adjusted on the basis of the minimum cell voltage. The sampling process comprises the continuous monitoring of the cell voltages during the control in order to determine the minimum cell voltage dynamically. The control comprises the control of an output voltage on the basis of the minimum cell voltage.
