The invention relates to a container (1) for animal food, especially dog food. The lateral wall (12, 14) of said container is embodied with a folded rim (15). A lidding foil (2) which can be pulled off is arranged on said rim. The container can be closed with said foil. The lateral wall (12, 14) which enlarges in direction towards the top is configured with a step (13) in the mid region thereof. The step is situated on the inner side of the wall. The lidding foil (2) can be fixed to said step. |
