A water-based ink-jet ink composition comprises:- <SL> <LI>(a) a cross-linkable oligomer or polymer comprising a reactive carbonyl group capable of reacting with a cross-linking agent (b); <LI>(b) a cross-linking agent which cross-links the oligomer or polymer (a) upon drying of the composition; and <LI>(c) a resolubilising polymer. </SL> This composition has a viscosity at 25{C of no more than 50 centipoise, preferably no more than 30 centipoise, more preferably no more than 15 centipoise, especially no more than 5 centipoise. |
