<p>In order to determine movements of two subjects, two or more signals (100,101,102) of different phase are obtained which depend on the movement, and processed by locating constellation states of the signals in at least one coordinate axis system (A,B,C,D,A'B'C'D'). Where there is one coordinate axis system, it must have at least six separate segments rotationally displaced. Where there are two or more coordinate axis systems, each must have at least three separate segments rotationally displaced. The change in the constellation states is monitored using at least three processed data samples obtained by sampling the signals (100,101,102) at a suitable clock rate. <IMAGE></p> |
