PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control system for an automatic vending machine capable of avoiding an illegality about an external storage device to which a program for control is written, the external storage device and an automatic vending machine. SOLUTION: This system is provided with the external storage device 9 to which the program for control is written and a controller 1 which reads the program from the external storage device and copies the program into a ROM 2, the device 9 has a counter information, and the controller 1 subtracts the counter information when the program is copied and also disables the copying of the program when the number of times is finished.
