PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shift control device of a vehicle free of the risk that the driver receives shift shocks or the shift feeling degrades. SOLUTION: The shift control device of a vehicle is equipped with a transmission M having a range 4 and main speed change part 3 changing the output rotation of n engine 1, a clutch 2 to connect and disconnect the engine with/from the transmission, a shift stage selecting means 14 to determine whether shifting is to be made in the transmission M and to select the next shifting stage, a shift control means 14 to disengage the clutch 2 in accordance with the output of the selecting means and to make shift control of the main speed change part 3 and range 4, a sensing means 14 to emit a changeover sensing output at the time of gear shifting while the shift control means is in shift control only using the main speed change part 3 and after elapse of the specified time Tαfrom starting the shift in the case the shift control means is in shifting involving the range 4 and before sensing of gear shifting, and an electronic governor ECU 7 to perform control of the engine revolving speed to put the revolving speed of the engine 1 identical to that of the clutch 2 in accordance with the given changeover sensing output. |
