PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a supporting body for packing wherein the bent sections are hard to tear, and which is excellent in strength. SOLUTION: On a frame member 1 made of corrugated fiberboard, a ridge folding line 4a and corner folding lines 4b and 4c are provided. Band members 2 and 3 wherein the ridge folding line 4a is made a boundary are superposed, and a thin and strong pinching sheet 15 is pinched between the band members 2 and 3. Then, by bending the frame member 1 which has become a laminated material along the corner folding lines 4b and 4c, this supporting body for packing is formed. Respective corners of the frame member 1 are reinforced by the pinching sheet 15, and become hard to tear, and the supporting body becomes excellent in strength.
