PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cigarette container with an ash box effective to prevent smokers from tossing butts carelessly. SOLUTION: A cigarette container 1 is provided with a cover 4 integrally formed through a folding section 3 and to be opened and closed freely on an opening section 5 on the back of a container main body 2 storing cigarettes of given numbers, and an ash box 10 provided with a mouth frame member 11 with a cover piece 13 opening and closing an opening 12 used for throwing away waste butts therein and fixed and sealed on a bag 15 formed of an incombustible material stretching and contracting in the lateral direction and freely varying its volume, and the butt box 10 can be stored together with cigarettes in the container main body 2.
