PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent occurrence of a color change in vector data independently of a color density and a line width of a vector. SOLUTION: A density value of each ink color is generated depending on color information of the vector data (S42), and the line width of the vector is discriminated (S51). When the line is not thin, the correction for color matching of each color is applied to the density of each ink (S52) and when the line is thin, correction for color matching is omitted (S53). The density of each ink is applied to a dither matrix prepared in advance to generate a mask matrix pattern (vector color pattern) to each ink (S46 and S55). In this case, when the line is thin and the density is low (S54), gamma conversion (S45) and shift processing (S57) are omitted. The vector data are converted into raster data by referencing the mask matrix pattern obtained in this way and the vector is printed on the basis of the raster data. |
