PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color thermal printer in which paper jam can be located easily and inexpensively. SOLUTION: In a printer body 11, at least a top cabinet 15 constituting the top face part is made of a transparent material absorbing or reflecting UV-rays. The top cabinet 15 is provided with a cover 16 for opening the carrying passage of recording sheet 20. An operator can locate paper jam by observing the operating state in the printer through the top cabinet 15. UV-rays radiated from UV lamps 24, 25 are intercepted by the top cabinet 15 and do not leak to the outside of the printer. |
