PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device which quickly reports an abnormality in a fixing device and prevents the occurrence of a defective picture and the occurrence of a fault or breakdown of the fixing device, a driving motor, and each driving parts. SOLUTION: The image forming device has the fixing device, the driving motor which drives the fixing device, a control part, and a display part, and the control part detects the current value of the driving motor to calculate the variance of driving torque as a load of the fixing device. If this variance of driving torque is abnormal, this abnormal state is reported by the display part or a voice, and the occurrence of a fault or breakdown of the fixing device, the driving motor and each driving parts is prevented by this report. |
