PREPARATION PROCESS OF POLYCARBONATE RESIN

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a preparation process of a polycarbonate resin which is excellent in hue and thermal stability and is good in sanitariness and durability. SOLUTION: A polycarbonate resin is prepared by using an aqueous alkali solution of a bivalent phenol compound and a carbonate precursor. The aqueous alkali solution of the bivalent phenol compound is obtained by mixing an aqueous alkali solution of the bivalent phenol compound and an organic solvent in the ratio of 1:0.05-1:30 (weight ratio) and then separating the liquids. After polymerization, a thermal stabilizer is added to the polycarbonate resin solution.
