PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a machine for separating combustible refuse which can separate the combustible refuse effectively from general urban refuse and is excellent in separation performance. SOLUTION: In the machine 1 for separating combustible refuse, dry refuse D is charged from a refuse charging port 3 on a vibrating plate 10 which is inclined at 11-15 deg. and has sawtooth-shaped projections 12 on the upper surface, the plate 10 is vibrated at 3.3-6.7 Hz, air of 50-140 m3/min/m2 is supplied from a vent hole 11 to disentangle urban refuse D into combustible refuse and incombustible refuse, the incombustible refuse is moved to an incombustible refuse discharge opening on the higher side of the vibrating plate 10 by vibration, and the combustible refuse is dropped to a combustible refuse discharge opening 5 on the lower side of the plate 10 by a suspension phenomenon.
