PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate design itself when designing an industrialized house or the like, to make a picture indication easy to comprehend, and to easily and speedily execute design work from planning to the preparation of component information. SOLUTION: This device is provided with a storage means 6, in which the pattern of information on the external form and structure components of an entire building is determined, a storage means 7 for the pattern of the three- dimensional model and component information of single or plural room spaces, a detailed information storage means 8, and a display/selecting means 5 for displaying the information stored in these respective storage means 6-8 on a display device 3 and setting items selected out of these display contents as the design elements of the building. This display/selecting means 5 displays a plan drawing 50, with which the patterns of respective stages are collected, and a mode selecting icon 51 on the display device 5. Besides, by matching a cursor 52 on the plan drawing 50, the item of a pattern or the like designated by that cursor is shown by changing the display of a partial color.
