Trimming mushrooms and other vegetables

The mushrooms are distributed in a funnel and are placed automatically, on exiting from the funnel, into vertical positions by vibrating tables and the heads of the mushrooms are gripped and fed to cutting elements which cut off the stems of the mushrooms to the required length.
