PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording medium reproducing device provided with a means which increases the infiltration speed, of a liquid to remove a printing material into a recording medium, thereby to increase the removal speed. SOLUTION: In the recording medium reproducing device 1, by which liquid 18 like water is brought into contact with a form 4, stuck with the printing material, to remove the printing material from the form 4, is provided with a voltage applying part 20 which applies a voltage to at least a part, which is brought into contact with the liquid 18, of the form simultaneously with or after contact of the liquid 18 to the form 4 in order to promote penetration of the liquid 18 to the form 4.
