PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a door that opens and closes the loading/unloading port of a recording medium from being inadvertently opened, and accordingly also to inhibit an ejecting operation when the door is locked. SOLUTION: A video cassette recorder has a loading/unloading port 22 where a cassette is loaded and unloaded, a door 30 which opens and closes the port 22, an ejection operating part 40, which is operated when the cassette is removed from the port 22 and a regulation operating part 60 which is operated, when the opening of the door 30 and the operation of the part 40 are regulated. The part 60 includes a rotation operating part 62 and a regulation member 64 which rotates as a single body with the part 62. The member 64 has a 1st regulation part 74, which touches the door 30 to regulate the opening of this door and a 2nd regulation part 76, which touches the part 40 to regulate the operation of this part.
