COLOR CHART AND IMAGE PICKUP DEVICE EVALUATION METHOD CAPABLE OF USING THE CHART

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color chart suitable for color evaluation of an image pickup device and to provide an evaluation method that can use it. SOLUTION: The color chart 300 is usable for evaluating the image pickup device. The color chart 300 has a patch which is selected depending on a display characteristic of a display device 200 that displays a picture photographed by the image pickup device when evaluating the color reproducibility of the image pickup device. A color selected as the patch is a color placed in a display reproduction area of the display device 200. RGB three stimulus values of a color selected as the patch 302 are all nonnegative real numbers.
