摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the reliability of an automatic transmission structured on the basis of a manually operated transmission whereby it is possible to sense certainly the conditions of the shift stage of transmission and its neutral position even at the time of standstill. SOLUTION: The transmission is configured so that a main shaft, counter shaft and reverse idler shaft are installed in a transmission case approximately in a parallel arrangement, wherein a one speed-two speed shift yoke is installed on a one speed-two speed shift shaft while a three speed-four speed shift yoke is installed on a three speed-four speed shift shaft and further a five speed- reverse shift yoke is installed on a five speed-reverse shift shaft, and a one speed-two speed fork to decide the one speed-two speed shift stage is fixed to the one speed-two speed shift shaft while a three speed-four speed fork to decide the three speed-four speed shift stage is fixed to three speed-four speed shift shaft and further a five speed fork to decide the five speed shift stage is installed fast on the five speed reverse shift shaft.
