PURPOSE: An air conditioner operated by using a refrigerator is provided to reduce power consumption by cooling a room using the air cooled via a refrigerant of a refrigerator. CONSTITUTION: An air conditioner operated by using a refrigerator comprises a refrigerator unit(200), a freezing unit(300) for freezing the water in a water reservoir tank(330) by the gasification of a refrigerant, and a blower unit(500) for dropping the temperature in a refrigerating pipe(340) by using the low temperature heat of the ice and discharging the cold air generated around the refrigerating pipe into a room. Since the room is cooled with the cold air generated by the refrigerant used for a refrigerator, the cost for the air conditioning of the room is reduced.
