<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gate lock device for a side gate that can ensure effective use of a deck and appreciably improved mounting accuracy of its stop. SOLUTION: This gate lock device for a side gate comprises a gate lock handle 36 disposed at the forward end of a side gate 11 on a deck 2, and a stop 32 formed for interlock with the gate lock handle 36 and disposed on a cabin back panel 30 forming the back of a cabin 5, and works so that operating the gate lock handle 36 until it is locked on the stop 32 brings the side gate 11 into a closed position where it is fixed to the cabin 5. The stop 32 is secured to the cabin 5 when welded between a cab side outer panel 23 disposed on the related side of the cabin and the cabin back panel 30.</p> |
