<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the occurrence of flicker or seizure by equalizing voltage drops of pixel electrodes and uniformizing the delay time of a scanning signal in an active matrix type liquid crystal display device which has a main display area and an auxiliary display area of which the pixel areas are different in size. SOLUTION: Wiring resistances and wiring capacitances corresponding to the main display area and the auxiliary display area respectively are adjusted. Specifically, means of making the width of scan wiring different between the main display area and the auxiliary display area, making the width and the length of lead-out wiring connected to scan wiring different between them, making the area of a part, where scan wiring and signal wiring overlap, different between them, making the channel width of TFTs different between them, making the storage capacity different between them, etc. are used for this adjustment.</p> |
