PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To protect a disk from impact, etc., when a disk cartridge is transported at high speed. SOLUTION: This disk cartridge consists of a cartridge main body 4, including an upper half 2 and a lower half 3 which are abutted with each other and joined together, a disk 5 which is stored rotatably in the main body 4 and on which the information signals are recorded, a disk support part 16 which projects from at least one of inner faces of the main body 4 opposite to each other and corresponding to a non-signal recording area 5b of the inner circumferential side part of the disk 5 and a disk support member 19, which has high wear resistance and high lubricity and is placed at the part 16 to be opposite to the disk 5. The member 19 is formed of a porous supermacromolecular material.
