PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a foldable wheelchair for easily moving a patient from a bed to a wheelchair by folding the wheelchair to be flat. SOLUTION: A front frame 5, a rear frame 4, a seat frame 6 and a base frame 3 are connected respectively rotatably to form a parallel link part 2a. A right and left pair of side frames 2 obtained by extending the rear frame upward are provided, the respective side frames are integrally connected by a cross frame 8 and a rear leg 11 is rotatably connected to a support axis P4 for connecting the rear part of the seat frame 6 and the rear frame 4. Then, the rear leg 11 is rotated downward and its lower part is positioned on a rear side from the connecting point P2 of the rear frame 4 and the base frame 3. The vertically middle part of the rear leg 11 and the rear frame 4 positioned at the upper part of the seat frame 6 are connected by an extensible driving device 12, a seat 13 is provided on the seat frame 6, a backrest 14 is provided at an upper part of the rear frame 4, a front wheel 16 is provided at the front of the base frame 5 and a rear ring 15 is provided at the lower end part of the rear leg 11.
