PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide high speed data transfer, even at the occurrence of errors, when the need for correcting a data reproduction error is discriminated and it is not required. SOLUTION: This device is provided with a means instructing record processing adding a code on an optical disk to a record control circuit, when a microcomputer controlling a device of a data recording and reproducing system receives processing in which confirmation of read-out of data is not performed, further the device is provided with such a means that increasing a processing time is prevented by discriminating the code of the optical disk at the time of reproduction and omitting correction processing, at the occurrence of errors, and high speed data transfer is realized.
